These 2 nr Georgian building, owned by Network had been left derelict since 2007 and had suffered from water ingress, burst pipes, vandalism and general neglect. The aim of the works was to get them operational as offices so Network rail could again let these buildings as offices realising the potential of their asset.
We were employed by CPMS, a management company with strong links to Network rail to undertake the majority of the works to meet the required specification.
Works included:-

New drainage works both internally and external, connecting to the existing network system

Masonry works, full repointing of the building to match existing (Lime mortar)

Dismantle and re-construct the chimneys.

Roofing repair works to the existing structural members. Renew facia and hidden gutters.

Refurbishment of all windows to renovate existing.

General builders works including works to assist M & E contractors

Internal joinery works including new doors

Specialist joinery works to protect / display existing features

Construction of new internal walls / ceilings / toilet areas / kitchens etc

Re-plaster all internal walls including specialist coatings

Underpinning works including dismantling the south stair well, constructing new foundations and re-building the stairwell using the removed materials.

Specialist stone work both internally and externally
The project was completed on time and met budget costs.
